My IMac is dying.
I’m starting a new job & need something that I can do a lot of organisational rubbish on - I’m a Nanny so need to be absolutely on spreadsheet for clubs, Birthdays, Birthday parties as well as other household tasks.

Very occasional face time.
Went to Curry’s today but kinda frazzled as to what’s the best option.
I’m leaning towards an IPad as it seems so mobile - not the huge one but the 11” one.
Quality of photos etc not so important as I have IPhone

I have both, but I use the iPad every day. The MacBook is useful for documents, files article writing.
I use it more as a work tool.
The iPad is portable and more used for leisure activities.

iPad with a keyboard. I hardly ever use my Mac now

I bought a MacBook Air two years ago as it was cheaper than a iPad Pro plus keyboard and I've been really happy with it. So lightweight for travel and don't worry about it cracking.

My ancient iPad is still fine and I use excel and word on both no problem.

I would go with macbook, more versatile, faster and less annoying than ipad

MacBook. Far sturdier and utilitarian.

MacBook definitely. The Air is as portable as an iPad but more versatile. I have a Pro but still carry it around with me everywhere so both doable.
