WWYD. Replace or leave. I live in a house with partner and school age 2 boys. I often use the loo to find it empty. So should I replace and be the bigger person or leave it and see how they like it 😁😁😁🤷🏻‍♀️

Leave for a week. Teach them a lesson.

Do not replace. Take one in with you when you go

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 21/09/2021 16:48

If you leave it be prepared for cries of "Muuuuuum, can you being me toilet roll"

Don't replace it but I'd hide it somewhere easily accessible so that they when they inevitably shout for you to get them one while they're on the throne you can just shout out there it is. Keep changing the hiding place.

Just replace it, I don't understand the whole teaching your family members a lesson thing, personally.

If they haven’t been trained by now, it’s too late .

This guy did a whole series of instructional videos for teenagers - how to change the loo roll, empty the dishwasher etc. You could try making them watch that.

And/or you can keep a secret stash somewhere they wouldn't think of looking in the bathroom.

I do fear the worst for my partner 😞 but I think my DC are salvageable 😁🤞

\so you think they should carry on believing in the loo roll fairy instead? Why is it the OPs job?
pinkyredrose · 21/09/2021 17:08

I love that you've added a pic Grin

Definitely don't replace! Keep a spare roll for yourself hidden somewhere.

MrsDThomas · 21/09/2021 17:08

The one to strip it, replaces.

I use the ensuite (never the main bathroom) and they leave the empty roll on the side of the bath. I will never replace it. Principles!

LukeEvansWife · 21/09/2021 18:22

Why now suddenly though? If you have always done it then of course they will let you. Do their future partner a favour and make them do it
