Not quite a wellness countdown

Maybe a bit more superficial Blush

I’ve really let myself go over past year and had a lot of crap to deal with. Much better emotional place now.

I’m staring Saturday and giving myself a 12 week makeover for Christmas. In dire need of overhauling weight/diet/exercise/hair/skin/nails.

If anyone can suggest how/what I could/should do to see amazing results by Christmas, then tips gratefully received!

I presume you have all the usuals covered like water, sleep, fresh air covered.

Re skin, I use a prescription skin care (skin & me) in the evening and a vit c serum in the morning (with a wash off cleanser and basic moisturiser) plus spf every day and I'd say my skin is the best it's been for years. May take longer than 12 weeks but the vit c serum certainly started brightening within a few weeks.

I like Dr Chattergee feel great lose weight book as a helpful kind of wellness guide. Not rocket science but accessibly supportive.

Something to make you relax - I have a corner where I read where I have a very comfy chair, a fluffy blanket and a salt lamp. It's like being in the womb I swear to god.

There have been quite a few “Princessing” threads over on the style & beauty board. They might give you a few ideas.

Add a really sweaty workout or twice a week. It makes a massive difference to my skin (like having a sauna!), mood and fitness. Zumba is my choice but it could be anything.

Make your nails look nice by filing every day, massage a tiny amount of Vaseline into the nails at bedtime so they grown string and supple, push cuticles back gently, use hand cream and when they are the desired length and shape, use a clear or neutral polish so that they look manicured/well groomed.
