Can someone help me understand some protests and the rationale behind them?

Before s anyone pounces I completely agree with the right to freedom of speech and peaceful protest.

But I struggle to understand what's behind some of them.

For example today's protests on covid jabs. I get some people are against them and that's fine. Some will be fully informed and others conspiracy theorists but it's their right to choose.

And that's it. Covid vaccines are completely someone's own choice. It's not something being forced on people. So I don't understand the rationale behind an anti vax protest.

Do they think they shouldn't be offered to anyone at all - not even those who make their decision to have it?

Batshit isn’t it? Same as anti abortion protests. If you don’t agree with them don’t have one. But why do you think you have the right to tell others what to do 🙄

That's what it seems to me they are doing rather than protesting iyswim?

I can understand protests against Bills being passed, changing rules and goal posts etc because that's not a choice. That's something imposed on us.

For example protesting against a change of state pension age is protesting against something being imposed on society.
