Hi there, I am someone who moved to UK here in my mid 20s so i'm not familiar with UK education system at all. I now have a daughter who is 17m (born in April 2020) and i am torn between estate and private schools, can't decide which one will be better, some people say it's best to send them to a private primary school and then hope they get into a good grammar school, some say it's best to send them to a good estate school for primary and then private for secondary school.
I also have been told that i am late for securing a place for her at a good private school!! and above all i don't know any good private or estate school in my area, I live in EN5 but i am in between Whetstone and Hadley Wood so both areas would be fine for us as well as Barnet, I would be very grateful if you could send me in the right direction and give me some info, my head is spinning and i don't know what the first step, many thanks
