Both dc have had colds. I feel so tired, headache, bit of a cold nothing too dramatic. No covid symptoms, lft negative, but I feel exhausted but a bit of a fraud if I dont go in tomorrow. Its frowned on to be off for any reason apart from covid now- should I go in even if feel terrible?

No. You aren't well enough to go in and work. Although I have to say, people who call in sick on a Friday or a Monday arent always believed

You should get a pcr

I wouldn't. Lateral flow tests aren't that accurate. I also wouldn't want to catch a bad cold from a colleague. I had hoped employers would be better these days at not making ill employees come in and spread their germs around.

And fatigue, headache and cold symptoms ARE covid symptoms! And the same symptoms as the people I know who've had covid recently.

The three so-called "main" ones according to the NHS are out of date, especially as Delta variant presents differently.

All my family members or friends who have had covid recently have had fatigue and headaches as their main symptoms.

I’m exactly the same, if your schedule are young you don’t need to phone in sick, just advise that your children are ill and you are unable to work, take annual leave if possible.

@MilkCereal I have had the same thing for nearly 2 weeks now. Sore throat, bad cough, feeling weak and tired. Lft says negative. I guess other viruses are available.
