Hi I brought 2 ties when my son started reception and didnt realise one was bigger at the top. This means it doesn't sit right in the collar of his shirt. I've just washed his tie that did fit as it was covered in glue and glitter. Well it is now a shredded tie. Does anyone know if its possible to make the clip on ties smaller at the top ? If so how ? Please he has to wear it as part of his uniform and I won't be able to get to the shop till Monday morning. Any help

No idea.sorry but as he is only in Reception I wouldn't worry, just send him in without a tie on Monday and tell the teacher why. Ties for 4 year olds and proper shirts for 4 year-old is a silly idea anyway.

Yea I think that's what I'm going to have to do. Not much else I can think of. I totally agree with you. I hate the having to wear proper shirst and ties for that age. It's covered in mess in no time. Such a pain.

Can you remove the clip and replace with elastic?
