I just wondered if I could have some opinions? I have been looking for AGES for a wedding band to fit behind my engagement ring.

They look ideal together. Are they both the same metal? I have been told once not to mix platinum with white gold because platinum is a lot tougher. But I don't know if it's true.

My engagement ring is a pear shaped diamond too and I wear it that way around and have a wedding ring with a curve to fit. It works.
