Anyone fancy being our wedding witnesses? - Birmingham, October 2nd

Hi everyone,

We're getting married at Birmingham registry office on Saturday, October 2nd, at 1:30 pm. We're still looking for witnesses.
We plan to have a bigger wedding for close friends and family next year, but the witnesses we wanted to have for our registry office wedding fell through, as they had a serious bereavement and we don't feel comfortable asking them now.

The registry office won't provide witnesses and we're not confident that asking strangers on the street on the day will work out 😂

So my question is as I have seen these appeals on mumsnet before: Anyone fancying being our witnesses? 😊

It doesn't matter what you'll wear. My partner will be wearing a suit and I'll be wearing a short wedding dress. You don't need to be dressed up though.

Happy to provide a nice bottle of wine or champagne for the favour.
