Dartford crossing - how best to pay?

I need to use the Dartford crossing tomorrow (there and back) and haven't done so for years, not since you could pay in cash as you cross. What's the best way to pay now? Can anyone advise please, thanks.

I think you can pay online up to 24 hours after you cross it.

No, you just go online to Dart Tag and add your car details and pay. They’ll email you a confirmation.

Just Google and you can pay online up to midnight the next day. I think you can pay in advance too. But THANKYOU! You just reminded me I’d hadn’t paid yet 😆

Really easy - just follow the steps there. I pay in advance so I don't need to worry about forgetting!
