Covid - super sensitive teeth

Has anyone else had this? My teeth and gums are just so sensitive and painful - it’s not a single tooth either, it is so many all at once.

It’s been weeks now.

No… but ds8 just tested positive and literally just complained of “toothache, the sort that (sensitive) toothpaste fixes” 5 minutes ago. Your post has given me hope that it’s not tooth decay he’s facing.

Yep me, I thought I was a weird one, as I'd not heard of anyone else with it.

It was so bad I was taking painkillers for it.

Sensodyne toothpaste helped a bit, but hot or cold hurt.

It really slowly stopped, I couldn't actually say how long it lasted for.
Just that it stopped eventually.

I had the same thing for a couple of days, this was back in March 2020 when I didn't even realise I had the virus. I emailed my dentist and they replied saying to rub some sensodyne toothpaste on my tooth. It seemed to work.

I’m using a mix of sensodyne and paracetamol- it’s such an annoying symptom, isn’t it?

I had this after my vaccination. Must have been some type of immune response. It was horrible. Tooth pain is very hard to distract from. I slathered sensodyne on and took paracetamol.

I had tooth pain/sensitivity too! I found a warm flannel on my face helped.

I have developed this and had it for several weeks, not had covid however.

I had COVID 9 weeks ago and my teeth are very sensitive to anything cold. I’m a Dental Hygienist so I know it’s not down to anything else. It’s just one of the strange symptoms I’ve been left with
