Enjoying your kids’ YouTube favourites

Does anyone else secretly (or not so secretly) really like some of the weird stuff their kids watch on YouTube? My ds is 9 and autistic and refuses to watch normal tv but obsessively watches some YouTubers (age appropriate) and with the exception of some of the gaming streamers that I find phenomenally tedious (but I’m not exactly the target audience) I’ve actually become a big fan of some of them myself - but I don’t have anyone else I can talk to about them except my ds (who is thrilled I’m into them).

My favourite one is BFDI, which introduced me to a whole new genre of Object Shows (animated survivor type shows using clip art type objects as characters). He tends to watch them out of sequence so one week during lockdown when he was at school I watched them all in order. It’s mad and hilarious and I can do all of the voices.

The Annoying Orange - love these, but pissed of Grapefruit has had a voice change recently.

MandJTV is a Pokemon YouTuber who’s pretty funny, especially his Grunty Boi character (not rude).

ShilohAndBros is a funny channel where they act out Among Us.

Anyone else heard of these and like them, or are the same as me?
