Best car for passenger comfort - recommendations please!

Hi. We're planning a long round day trip with a good-natured but elderly relative. Reckon that we're best off hiring a car so that she can be as comfortable as possible. Can anybody advise?

DBro has a mahoosive Volvo estate that feels comfy , solid and safe ( I haven't driven it , just passenger)

Please warn your passenger before you put on the heated seats so they don'y think they'd peed themselves

Or an MPV ( I hired an Alambra to visit DParents ) .
High up enough to make getting in/out easy . Sliding doors so easier to park .

We got 4 adults , 2 teen DC and my DMum walking frame no trouble

Ooh. Heated seats ate a good point. Will make achey joints comfier. We did used to have a Ford Galaxy so good point on the access etc with an Alhambra

I'd always say a Citroën. I think they still prioritise comfortable seats. I'm very spoiled after 10 years plus in them.

An SUV. Doesn’t have to be massive. My Skoda Karoq was voted so comfortable by my neighbour with a bad back, that she bought one. Heated seats, heated steering wheel, excellent lumbar support..

A volvo, the seats are so comfortable!

Hyundai Tucson, a good height for anyone with poor mobility to get in & out of, good satnav, comfortable to drive.

It really depends though what is there when you book it .
Usually you go by Group A/B/C etc and they give you what they have .

I asked for an Astra type once and got an Insignia (upgrade )
I asked for a Fiesta type once and got a Toyato Aygo ! (Tiniest boot in history)
