Covid19 vaccine after infection anyone?

I was infected with Covid19 in mid July. I had received one Moderna vaccine on the 29th April and my second one was due the week I tested positive. I was quite unwell and had some longer lasting symptoms which have mostly resolved now, so I now feel ready to have my second jab, which I am booked in to have in a week.

Has anyone had a Covid19 vaccine two months after Covid19 infection and how was it in terms of side effects?

It has been almost five months since my first dose and two months since I caught Covid19. Would like to hear your experiences, if you've been in a similar situation. I suppose I feel a little apprehensive about the vaccine after everything I have been through with the virus. Thank you so much.

DS caught COVID (for the second time) a month after his first vaccine (Pfizer) and had his second vaccine about 5/6 weeks afterwards with no side effects.

He had very mild side effects for 24 hours after his first vaccine - slight temperature, exhausted and a sore arm. The first time he had COVID was over a year earlier so he probably had little or no natural immunity by the time he was vaccinated.

Apart from the first 24 hours of D&V, his symptoms with the Delta variant post vaccination were much milder than when he had COVID the year before.

He had no side effects other than a sore arm with the second vaccine.
