Toot toot?

DD2 is 1 soon and I am planning ahead for Christmas.
We already have a lot of the main toys that you would buy from dd1

I want something that will get some use this year and that she will not grow out of quickly so was looking at the toot toot sets.

Does anyone have any experience of them? Are they worth buying? Do they actually get played with? I know that there are animals and vehicles, are any more engaging than the other? Any particular sets that have been used a lot in your house?

If not those, any other ideas? I am at a bit of a loss!
Thank you

My DS started to enjoy playing with them at about a year and is still happily enjoying them at nearly 2 so I'd definitely say they were a good buy for a 1 year old.

I would however recommend buying some of the vehicles and animals separately, second hand if possible as none of the almost 2 year olds I know actually play with the sets, they just like playing with the vehicles as a a stand alone toy.

Our son has every single Toot Toot vehicle going. But then, he's 12 and ASD/SLD Grin He loves the vehicles but never got into the animals.

We had the garage and airport and my done played with it from on about 1 1/2yo to 5yo he loved it. My daughter has the castle and some fairy housed she is 6 in November and l can see she is coming to the end of playing with them. They have been great. Well worth the money we paid for it.

Wow. I do t expect so many answers so quickly. Thank you all.

I have been looking at the fairground and garage but also quite like the animal ones. I assume that they all connect anyway?

I will definitely be having a look for separate vehicles/ animals second hand.
