How to not react to MIL comments

Well, MIL has just been round. My DS who is 2.5 yrs old was coughing, picked up yet another cold from nursery - all the viruses have been doing the rounds at his daycare so not surprising. She went on to claim that he keeps getting colds because he has a weak immune system. I told her it's not unusual for kids to pick up whatever is going round, especially in the daycare setting but she insisted that he has a weaker immune system than most. Just seen a facebook post by someone in the local community saying that at their daycare setting they have the norovirus, hand foot mouth and the rugs going round and was asking if others had the same.

Anyway, this is obviously just one of many comments from her. I guess I'm just tired from a long week and throwaway comments like these that she tries to pass off as 'facts' are getting to me. But, how do you not let them get to you?

Just send her the link below

"Most adults catch a cold from time to time, but kids can get eight colds per year or more."
