Fabric experts- I need your advice please

I’m hoping to save a bit of money on my wedding and make my own chair sashes. To do this I’d need a cheap fabric that I’ll be able to cut without fraying and will tie round a covered chair and make a nice bow.

I have seen this fabric- do you think it will work?

It looks like muslin,you need something that will keep some shape of the bow. Look up organza or tulle- a bit stiffer so will hold the shape nicely
