Is anyone having issues with Netflix?

I’ve been watching Schitt’s Creek (highly recommend it), for the last couple of days the iPad screen goes black towards the end of the episode. I can still hear it, but there’s no picture.
I wondered if anyone had the same and if they managed to fix it?

No, Netflix has been fine though I haven't tried Schitt's Creek. I might do so now and report back.

I just put it on for a couple of minutes and it was OK.

Try turning off and on again.

Will do.
It’s fine for the majority of the episode, then the last few minutes it’s black.

Bingo - I've been watching Designated Survivor on Netflix the last couple of nights and have had exactly that problem!
Screen goes black a few minutes before the end, but sound is okay. Next episode comes on fine. Sometimes if I do the forward 10 secs thing the screen comes back on but the image is frozen. I thought my old iPad must be on the way out!

Oh my God, I thought my phone had a newly discovered religious objection to Lucifer. That goes black at the end of an episode, or if I am really lucky, early in the episode. Blush

I’ve turned the iPad off and on again, it’s still doing it.
@Medievalist my iPad isn’t an ancient one, so I think it must be a netflix issue.

That happened to me watching Brooklyn 99 last night. Had to go back to the episode listing, then it picked up where it left off.

Yep does this regularly for me, but only on my phone. If i watch on my laptop Sky Q box all is fine. You are not alone in taking a while to realise was not meant to black... and more than once!

I don't think I could watch stuff on my phone so my iPad is my only device 🤷‍♀️.

It's such a weird glitch for the screen to go dark for the last 3 mins of each episode of Designated Survivor.

Now its changed to the WB picture showing on the screen for the last few minutes. Is Netflix having licensing issues?

I love the way their troubleshooting advice says it's probably 'an issue with your device'.

Er ... no Netflix. My device is just fine with every other streaming app I use. I think it's a fault at your end!

There have been a few tech issues with Netflix recently.
A fb group I'm in had an ongoing thread where lots of people had experienced a variety of problems.
