DVLA say my online renewal is “stuck in system”

All around me are getting their online renewals in a few days. I’ve been waiting six weeks! Managed to get through on webchat to be told it was “stuck in the system” and was awaiting the attention of a caseworker. Despite my persistence I got no further with that.

I need it to apply for an international licence shortly.

Anyone got any ideas that would help?

Was yours an online application @fairgame84? The DVLA website says these are being processed with a week and that seems to be the case with people I know. It makes a difference because online is done automatically and uses passport details and photo.

Contact your MP - you might have one of the rare breeds who like to help their constituents overcome State sponsored incompetence.

Have they still not employed more people to clear the backlog? Fucksake, it's not rocket science.
