Do I have any rights here?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no but maybe someone will know better than me (google wasn't clear):

I was gifted a wowcher hotel & dinner type package for my birthday in 2020. I booked for a weekend and payed the surcharge. Then lockdown happened and the hotel was shut for the period. It didn't reopen until the new year when the voucher/booking had expired. Hotel said we could roll over until this year but it had to be used in the same 3 months as was allowed in 2020. After much back and forth the hotel have said they can only offer 1 weekend date for that period, but I can't make that date. They have offered to refund the surcharge but said we have to take it up with wowcher if we want to try for a refund for the whole thing. Is it worth getting the family member who gifted it to me to contact wowcher? I assume since it's been so long since it was booked they won't do anything but it's a lot to money to just throw away like that.

I can’t read their t&c’s as a pop up appears saying I have to sign in and I’m not a member.

The problem is that Wowcher have fulfilled their side of the bargain and provided the asked for deal. The fact you can't book a suitable weekend won't bother them.

Nothing harmed in asking but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Very happy to be proved wrong though Grin
