DH in hospital with Urosepsis

Hi. DH has gone into hospital this morning and has Urosepsis. Does anyone know someone who has had this and know how long before he starts to get better?

I can't go and see him because no visitors are allowed (totally understandable) . The nurses have been brilliant but I'm so worried.

I've tried to talk to him on his mobile but he is too confused to tell me how he really is.

Just need a hand hold really.

My dad was in hospital with this about 7 years ago...he was quite poorly and had antibiotic treatment and a small operation to remove some infected tissue. Was in hospital about two weeks, he was confused until after the operation and we knew he was in the mend when he started consistently mithering to be wheelchaired outside so he could have a smoke!I
