School keep calling positive lactrol flow /detention

Dd had a positive lactrol flow test and has been ill. The school told me I have to get her a proper covid test. I had to do the postage one. So it's taken a little longer.

The school is ringing me everyday to ask why dd is not in and telling me I should call before 8am but this is a very busy time for me and I have alot going in at that time. I also emailed the attendance to say that dd had a positive lactrol flow test we are waiting on the covid test and it's unlikely dd will be in for the rest of the week. I was asked to send in a picture of the lactrol flow test. Which I did but they still keep calling me.

I also got a message saying dd has dention for not doing maths home work. 1) she's not in school. 2) she's not been well .
@Lennybenny thanks! Not once does she mention lateral flow or PCR
Stop being so pedantic. It's obvious what the O P means.

@TomAllenWife

I did a PCR on 1st September and still haven't received results 💁🏼‍♀️ No wonder this country is in such a mess
My sister still hadn't had her results after 3 days so she rang them. There was some sort of error but her result was there just hadn't been pushed through to her phone/email

We got the result from our test that was put in the post on Tuesday this morning. About 60 hours in total. Negative fortunately.

My ds did one last Saturday and hasn't had results.

He wasn't symptomatic, has had negative LFT and was just as a contact from someone in his college class.
He's also double jabbed.

I just went with thinking of it was positive T and T would have rang so no news meant negative!

Teacher here. There is a legal requirement for schools to set work for pupils who are absent for COVID-related reasons.

I think that is only if they are isolating.We have been told specifically we are not allowed to set work for pupils with covid.
