Hi,
My son (12) has very bad dandruff and nothing I have tried helps. Are there any shampoos/lotions/remedies any of you could please recommend?
Hee is getting down over it as it's so noticable

What have you tried?

I had medicated shampoos on prescription as a teenager which did absolutely nothing, and convinced me my dandruff was incurable. Hence why I just let my scalp fall off for years and didn't find out until I was 25 that plain old Head & Shoulders does the job miraculously for me.

I suffer with dandruff quite a lot, the only way it tends to stay under control is alternating every other wash between head and shoulders itchy scalp shampoo and T Gel shampoo.

Nizoral is expensive but effective.

People will come on saying that body shop ginger shampoo is the mutt’s nuts, but it made my dandruff even worse.

Dd had very bad dandruff - big flakes that were very noticeable. I wonder was it linked to onset of puberty. We started using T gel religiously (every wash, but not washing more than 3 times per week) and it has successfully cleared it up and kept it at bay.

T gel is good for me
Head and shoulders works for ds but sparks my dermatitis.
