Has anyone bought these? And are they good (and better than ice cubes)?

I wouldn’t advise crunching them or letting children have them as they could be a choking hazard.

Sorry for stating the obvious! I’m old!

I have some, they are great if you don't want your drink diluted. They don't feel quite so nice chinking against your mouth though IMO. Very solid and I worry about chipping a tooth!

icedcoffees · 16/09/2021 17:03

Don't they make your drink taste funny?

NotYourCupOfTea · 16/09/2021 17:04

I don’t have steel ones but multicoloured cube ones from. Amazon and they are ace

Thank you for the replies.

I was also wondering about them chinking and loosening teeth.

May I also ask to those that have any type of them: do you keep them refrigerated and then use for one drink and then they’re useless until the next time you refrigerate them again or do they stay cold for a long time

Echoing another poster: do they make your drink taste differently, or make it smell weird!?

I bought them for my whisky loving friend. She said she liked the novelty aspect but they didn't cool her drink enough and was worried about her teeth so doesnt use them any more.

NotYourCupOfTea · 16/09/2021 19:32

Mine live in the freezer, keep drinks lovely and cool and then chuck in the dishawasher after then back in the freezer
