Cheap cardigan ? where ?

I need some basics, there are holes in my holes I've seen up and I usually buy from DP or H&M, but they are sitting at about £25 each which is too much for me at the momentBlush Any recommendations? I need to buy 3 cardigans something like Black, grey, green to last the winter or I do like brights but harder to come by. Just a standard cardigan ( not cropped as I'm tall ) longer length ok. Where should I shop? There isn't a primark nearby and it's multiple buses and my toddler is a demon 😉

Matalan might be worth a look.

I got a nice black one from M&Co

Mariell · 16/09/2021 10:27

eBay secondhand?

JSL52 · 16/09/2021 10:28

H&M , Matalan all deliver.

CorrBlimeyGG · 16/09/2021 10:32

Sainsburys deliver to Argos stores, and you can do free returns there too. They have 25% off weeks every few months, normally around half term time but the dates are not guaranteed.

Asda longline cardigan with POCKETS, £12.50! I have black and grey they wash great this is the 3rd winter I will be wearing mine. I know they do navy and tan but not sure about green

mymobileisonsilent · 16/09/2021 10:39

I get Tesco supermarket delivery due to sharing a car with DP, not sure if can add clothes, but will check. Asda a good call, there's a nice £10 grey one, but only in small.

Uniqlo too pricey unless in sale and I'd need a 12 /14 I'm tall so not sure if that's M or L in Uniqlo so I can check the sale stock ?

I don't think you can buy clothes from Tesco online but Matalan's worth a try?

No not anymore, I used to buy a lot of F&F for the kids. George at Asda is my go to now, it's hard to get the sizes and I do go to the store and buy online, but the best value stuff like pack PJs sells out instantly. I bought a snowsuit for DD the other day for £20 as I know when I need them those will be gone.

For secondhand/nearly new, you could try Depop, Vinted or Ebay - usually a great choice of cardigans and jumpers. You may also be able to find something on online charity shops such as refashion and Thrift +.

JSL52 · 16/09/2021 15:43

Matalan do online

OldTinHat · 16/09/2021 15:43

Everything five pounds website!

TinnedPotatoesRock · 16/09/2021 15:53

Shein are OK, had a couple of things from there and the quality has been OK and it's pretty cheap.

EL8888 · 16/09/2021 15:54

Another vote for eBay. You get way more for your money!

FedUpAtHomeTroels · 16/09/2021 15:57

Bonmarche. Often overlooked for basics.
I ended up in there getting black trousers for Dd for 6th form I was very impressed with the number of different styles of plain black trousers. They have lots of things like basic cardies.

BlueCowWonders · 16/09/2021 16:05

I've got M&S school cardis. I like them in cotton as they don't itch.

If you're 12/14 the larger school sizes are ideal. I have navy and burgundy but they also do black.

Itonlymakesyoustronger · 16/09/2021 16:26

How about checking online at SHEIN - They do some good stuff and some bad stuff but you can find 3 cardigans for £25 and will probably be able to grab a discount code from the home page :)

Topbird29 · 16/09/2021 16:51

Online sainsburys tu are usually good quality for the price.
