Has anyone been prescribed Colgate duraphat 5000?

Just that really. Was prescribed yesterday, just wondering how long it takes to work? Have a super sensitive tooth/gum. Was told to use twice a day and then rub on tooth and gum before bed. But the toothpaste or literally anything touching it hurts so much 🥺🥺

I had it to prevent cavities in the past. Hope it works for your sensitive tooth.

I had to the same thing as you OP, super sensitive tooth due to gum wearing down apparently. Worked within 2-3 days and I’m back to my usual toothpaste now with no more sensitivity
