Please can someone reasure me

I had a c section in january and since mid may I have had very painful sciatica down my right leg causing pins and needles (gp diagnosed sciatica). I was prescribed ibuprofen and paracetamol only due to breastfeeding and sent to the physio. The physio told me to do exercises and use mindfullness. The pain has eased slightly as I am no longer crying each day, but the pain is awful. I cannot sit for longer than 20 minutes. I limp each day too. Is this likely to go away/get easier? I was told there is nothing else that can be done - gp and physio said this.
Thankyou

Acupuncture helped me when it was pregnancy- related. Can you look into that?

Thankyou. I can look into it. I have had reiki, hot stones, medical massage and crystal therapy too

I have sciatica and sadly nothing can be done sometimes as in my case. Moving around helps. Acupuncture is good but very temporary. You can get steroid injections which last 6 months ish. The right painkillers do work so do take them especially at night when it can hurt the most as you're lying still.

Once you finish breastfeeding and can take stronger pain killers it will be more bearable than chasing alternatives
