House Plants

I keep seeing all these Instagramable houses with beautiful green lush house plants.

Where do I get started?! Where is the best cheapest place to get them from?

Just trying to add a bit of color and life into my new home!

Start with spider plants, really easy too look after and if you ask around on Facebook (if you use it) you can guarantee someone will give you one! Be aware if you have cats or dogs that some plants are toxic. I've picked up some nice plants in Wilko and B&m as well as garden centres.

Ikea is good for house plants.

Chinese money plants are great and are always having babies. I had one, now have five and keep giving them to friends Smile

Our lidl always has good plants but may be going out of season

My spider plant from Morrisons is sprawling and has had numerous babies. It was tiny when I bought it. They're impossible to upset, too.

Others worth exploring are sanseivera, ivy and signature bush. All of those came from IKEA.

I've got two coelus that I picked up in tesco, they were being sold as outdoor plants but they are not Hardy. They make beautiful houseplants because of the colours.

Wilko, Morrison’s and I got a gorgeous fern from Home Bargains yesterday for £3.99. 🪴
