DD's 7th birthday party, what to do?

Hi. My DD is 7 in could weeks, she originally wanted to go to a big trampoline place but it's so expensive.
She said she wants a makeover party so thought I could do this after school on her actual birthday.
I am looking for ideas!
Was thinking a face mask (something child friendly or homemade) and cucumber patches.
Some makeup, maybe nails. Then a photo frame thing.
Was also thinking of some kind of arts and crafts...
Does anyone have any better ideas than me please!?

I’d resist that type of party until older personally but…
How many are you inviting? It’s a lot to sort on your own so you’ll need things they can do to each other. Glitter tattoos is an easy one. I’ve done cupcake decorating before with some pre made cupcakes and dishes of icing and sprinkles. Friendship bracelets are another one. You can get boxes of beads quite cheaply on Amazon

Why would you resist?
I mist admit it's not my thing to let her wear makeup etc.
I have invited 5 plus my own. I feel mean not taking her to trampoline place but its so expensive.
I did think about craft activities rather than make up etc

Sounds lovely, face mask, maybe style her hair? Polish in hands and toes, order some of those cheap selfie photo props from eBay and take silly memorable pictures together x

She has her whole life to be into make up, let her be a little girl while she still has the chance

Sounds lovely. You could also buy coloured hair chalks or spray hair glitter. Fill a pink bowl full of bubbles so they can soak their feet, you can dry them and apply nail polish!

Like pp said I just don’t like makeup on little girls much but there’s no harm. I would def be more inclined to craft things though. It will keep them busy longer.

At 7 I wasn’t interested in soaking my feet……. Crafts, yes.

I have just been looking at craft ideas, found a nice charm bracelet set and thought about tie dye, maybe I should do that!
I have air dry clay stuff they could use

Tie dye is definitely not as bad as you’d think. Dd pestered me for ages and I was dreading it thinking there’d be dye everywhere but it was super easy

Baker Ross has lovely craft kits - I've used those for my children's parties. Then they get something nice to take home too!

Sheet masks would be less messy than face masks.
