Should kids go to their dads covid related

My daughter had a positive lactrol flow test. She has been round her 2 younger brothers. They are not showing any symptoms and are allowed to go to school still. The 2 boys are meant to be going to their dads this weekend. But im not sure if its a good idea as he lives with his elderly parents. They have both been double jabbed though.

I'd ask their dad if he is happy to have them in the house if they are potentially brewing covid

I asked him and he just said as long as yours and the older kids are negative it should be ok. Im not sure it is.

What ages are the younger boys? Did they get tested too? Could they be tested before they go?

They are 5 and 6. They have not been tested. I could test them Friday morning.
