Amazon fire 7 kids tablet - bbc iplayer?

Can anyone tell me whether or not you can use the bbc iplayer app on the amazon fire 7 kids tablet? (The one with the chunky case) I've read mixed answers!

I'm pretty sure we were able to add it onto our dds profile. Theres a kids app version which we added on. We downloaded it it to the kindle from the app store and then theres a bit where you can choose to add other apps to the kids profile. She had a 10 which I think is just a bigger version in the same style chunky case.
I'd go on it to check but predictably the charging port doesn't work (happens to every kindle ive ever had!) So we got her the older kids version a couple of weeks ago.
