Adult DS1 and his aftershave

It's not aftershave is it? Cologne?

I forget what it's called but it's an expensive spray, £60 a bottle, my own fault because I bought the first when I was stuck for Christmas present ideas when he was 17. I think, actually it was a MN recommendation for what the young people are wearing Grin

It's perfectly nice, he smells lovely himself, but I don't know what he's doing with it because he went to work an hour ago and the whole house still smells really strongly of it. Whilst it's nice on him, somehow the lingering smell is quite cloying.

I've tried telling him less is more, go easy, it will save you money etc. I've tried telling him it's not nice when it lingers after he's gone.

Is this a common thing with young men and their perfume? What is he doing wrong? Is there anything I can do?

When I started writing I thought this was a lighthearted post, but actually I realise it is really getting on my nerves Grin

I’d rather that than having some Grebo for a son that stinks of B.O!

Using too much of it by the sounds of it. I used to when I was younger; behind ears, neck, chest, stomach . . . . balls! Grin. He'll learn, don't worry.

Open a window if it's stinking your house up.
