Moving from 2-1 naps- advice please

My DD is 14months. Her wake windows are getting longer and there's not really time in the day now to accommodate two naps without a really late bedtime, however I tried shifting her to one nap and by 11am she was exhausted! So I think we need to do it more gradually. Please can anyone advise what steps I should take next?

At present her naps are as follows:

Wake up 6.30am

Nap 1: 9.30 (try to put down but falls asleep around 10) sleeps until 11.30 if I leave her

Nap 2: she needs 3.45/4hrs window here so it's looking like 3.30pm sleep (year day she fell asleep at 4!)
Sleep until I wake her , try to just give 30 mins

Bedtime 7.45 falling asleep around 8-8.15

Sleeps through until about 6-6.30

...............

Should I keep the morning nap long and gradually push it later and later? (But then what in earth do I do about the later afternoon napping as she needs 4 hrs gap!

Also I think she's waking up earlier in the mornings, probably due to late napping?

Alternatively do I cut short the morning naps and elongate the afternoon one and bring it earlier??

Thank you 🙏🙏

By no means an expert but with D when we moved to one nap it was generally around 12/12.30 until 2/2.30. basically she was awake all morning then had lunch about 11/11.30 then naptime. I would try to gradually move the morning nap later over a few days and just cut out the late afternoon nap. It might mean an earlier bedtime for a while.

Just go for it. Bring lunch early eg 11.30 and let her have an unlimited nap. Bedtime will need to be the length of her nap but some more time earlier eg another hour. The first two weeks are tricky and don’t go for any long afternoon drives at first.

Bedtime needs to be the length of her nap earlier*

I'm worried immediately just launching into one nap. As I said in my OP, I did try it and she was exhausted, falling asleep over her lunch!

Same. DS is 15m and does 6:3-7pm > 6:00-6:30am (unless ill or whatever) with a lunch time nap.

When we first moved to one nap when DS was 11 months old we did lunch after the nap. He had a snack about 11am with a breastfeed or cup of milk then napped and had lunch after he woke up.

The lunchtime nap then got later and later of its own accord, and once he was going down at 12:15/12:30 I brought lunch forward. Might be worth a go!

I'd say if she's falling asleep over lunch then that's her nap time. Do either an early lunch and snack after one long nap around this time or a mid morning snack and a late lunch after it. If I remember right my DD napped at lunchtime for a few months then it gradually moved forward to just after lunch.
