Cargo bikes

Am in the process of buying a cargo bike and wondering if there are any other cargo bike owners here?

Really looking forward to using it but a but nervous about how long it will take to get used to it (I've gone for a 3 wheeler trike rather than bike).

Any tips before I'm unleashed on the unsuspecting public? Not sure yet about how to lock it or maintenance stuff.

I don't own one but sometimes rent one.
riding it is awsome.
it's an 'urban arrow', so 2 wheeler.
for locking they have a frame lock & chain but do check insurance requirements.

try it out on a quiet stretch of road first. riding forward is easy but it has a much bigger turning circle than a regular bike.

check out bike repair shops in the area or ask the bike seller.

the bike I hire come with foam tyres, punctures are therefore no issue and the chain is encased, less risk of it jumping out.

oh and practice braking.
especially if it has no brake pad but whole wheel brakes (are those called barrel brakes?) those are very powerful and can send you flying if not used to them.
