To give you some background... we have been invited to a wedding. It's going to be a very smart wedding. The last wedding I went to was over 10 years ago. It's my husbands cousins wedding and the couple are in their 20s.
• I am in my early 40s
• I am size 16 and I do have a bit of an endometriosis belly.
• My legs are not the best so short dresses are not good
• I am a redhead so orange is not in the plan
• I am only 5ft tall
• animal prints give me sartorial blue balls!
• black would be too maudlin and white is a major faux pas! I have also overdone purple in the past.
Please please hit me with your best suggestions as I have just been clothes shopping with my husband and his brother who found suits in 2 minutes flat and then tried their best to suggest dresses... including one that could be best described as milkmaid chic. I have been looking for weeks and have come to the conclusion that most major shops thought that 2021 would be a right off for weddings and events.
