I haven't even read the book yet. I have ordered it. I watched the film last night and its left me a wreck. I didn't cry through the actual film but I have been tearful ever since. I have tried not to think about it but I can't help it. I have an autistic daughter who is verbal but does struggle to communicate her wants and feelings properly. It has changed the way I see her, my parenting, our past and everything in my world.
My dh dosnt understand and is not interested in watching it so I thought I'd post here as im sure others here must have seen it. If not I recommend it even if you don't have autistic loved ones.
