So my little one started last week, Monday they are dressing up for raold dalh day. I thoughy you pay a £1 or something. But there is no mention of this on the website, can anyone tell me what normally happens ? Sorry for a daft question.

For things like that it is probably just because they are having a focus on Roald Dahl so the dressing up is a ‘fun’ activity linked to it. So probably no fundraising element but your best to check with your school on Monday

I don’t think we’ve ever paid for a dressing up day (usually you end up needing to buy bits anyway). We normally only pay for non-uniform days when they get to wear just normal home clothes. It’s usually made very clear it’s a fundraiser for something.

It's a mix of the two. We have some dressing up days for fund raising and some linked to their topic.

It's Royal Dahl Day on Monday. They're simply asking them to dress up to help immerse themselves in the day's events. It's not for fundraising. I'm so glad mine have finished primary!
