We are moving to Dorset for my job and we need some help on where to look for a house. I need to be able to access Poole, Bournemouth and Salisbury. Husband WFH 4 or 5 days a week and commuting to Southampton for potentially 1 day a week when required.
We had been looking at the triangle created by the A338 (Salisbury to B’mouth), the A350 (B’mouth to Blandford Forum) and the A354 (Blandford Forum to Salisbury), but happy to think outside here as well. We have been to Fordingbridge before to visit friends and thought it was lovely, other than this we don’t know the area much at all.
Budget of £550,000, need 3 bedrooms minimum. Ideally semi rural - large village or small town would be ideal. 1 toddler to consider currently plus maybe 1 more in future.
