He often sits at the kitchen table to do his jigsaws.
DD was colouring on the floor in the living room and DS2 was doing his jigsaw. Or so I thought

He came into the living room, top absolutely soaked and hands covered in bubbles.

He'd decided to wash up the pots that I'd had in the sink to soak. He hadn't touched the sharp knives that were at the back side by the sink, and had very carefully stacked the dishes on the drainer.

Hes not done an awful job either bless him.

DD is now rather upset that I gave him a sticker for being so helpful and she didn't get one. So now they're discussing what jobs they're going to do tomorrow to earn stickers.

I'm onto a winner here WinkGrin

My two when small used to love to dust or clean anything using wet wipes or a damp cloth.

All those hard to reach places were easy for them!

Ah so cute. Skirting boards can never be too clean! Wink

My ds 6 waters all our plants. He is particularly fond of the one in his room that has orange flowers!! He is very proud of that one!!

They've gone to bed with a whole list of ideas to earn stickers.
Theyre going to dust, help me with the washing (moving it from washer to dryer) tidy their rooms, make their beds, DD wants to hoover. Grin

My 4 year old is excellent at dusting and sometimes he goes on pot patrol and gathers up any cups lying about. However, the main prize is if I let him wash up Grin it’s just a shame the entire kitchen gets a bath at the same time!
