Periods since vaccine

I had my second vaccine mid June.

I’ve always had a regular 28/29 day cycle. Latest I’ve ever been is 4 days in all the years I’ve had periods. The cycle immediately after the vaccine was 6 weeks, so 2 weeks late. And since then the last 3 periods I’ve had have all been 2 weeks apart.

I’m 34, definitely not pregnant. I’ve taken 2 test to make sure. Has anyone else experienced this? Do I need to get checked out or wait and see if it settles down again?

Yes, I had exactly the same and a very late period after my second dose. It does seem to be a side effect although everything has now settled down again. There's a study being undertaken by Imperial College looking at this so you can feed back here imperial.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3KmQnQyWTK8F674

This is an article about it that I found helpful

Mine didn't turn up after my first vaccine in June, or my second in July. It appeared at the beginning of September. There are a couple of threads on here about the issue.....it's caused a lot of upset cycles.

Thanks for the replies, it’s reassuring to hear others have had the same.

I heard of changes after the vaccine but thought that might have been for one or two cycles and then back to normal. I’ll give it a bit longer and see if they get more regular again.

I’ll have a look at that study too, thanks for the link.
