Wedding reception - cards/gifts

I've been invited to a wedding evening party next weekend but it's been years since I've been to one and just wanted to check what the etiquette is these days regarding cards/gifts.

The actual wedding was last week with some family and friends invited and they are having a party next weekend for what I'd assume would be wider friends.

In this case would a gift be appropriate? Or card with money? Or just card ? Or neither because it's not on the actual wedding day? I'm not particularly close to the couple but see them on the school run and chat sometimes.

Any help would be much appreciated on what would be appropriate in this case! Thanks !

A card with a modest voucher (department store or garden centre) or cash included. Easier for you and for them. Not a gift, people have such different tastes and it is so time consuming.
