Very boring I know, but does anyone know if a double shaving point adaptor exists? Ie you plug it into the shaving point in your bathroom and it then allows you to charge two gadgets at the same time (shaver and electric toothbrush in our case)?

I've looked online but can only find adaptors that let you plug a bathroom (2 pin) gadget into a three pin standard socket, which I don't want to do.

So am I searching for the impossible? Or do any of you know what I'm on about and where I could buy such a thing?

I can't find one, but there are double shaver points that you can fit. I realise this involves an electrician, but as a last resort...

Search for a shaver point doubler instead - you'll get lots of results.

It's ok to 'split' or use double shaver adapter from the mains with a three point plug, but potentially dangerous to charge two appliances at once from a shaver point socket, as they're not designed to provide that much power. The socket may overheat.

You can fit a double socket.

@Lycanthropology, I did wonder if the reason I couldn't track one down easily was because they were dangerous. I was trying to save the expense of getting a double socket fitted but maybe that would be better and safer

@EmmaGrundyForPM that link is a splitter for a European mains, not a British shaver socket!
