Am I entitled to free school meals?

I've had a look on line but it's really
Confusing.

Single parent, receive working tax credit and child benefit. Not other benefits. earn £15,000 P.A.

I think your are eligible as you earn under £16k

I would say no because you get WTC

No because of WTC.

No unless your child is in ks1 in England (not sure about others).

Can vary depending on LA

I don't know if all areas are the same but in mine it's clear on the council website that you don't get it with WTC, I helped someone check recently and they'd even heplfully put it in big capitals

What does your council page say?

I didn't think I was entitled but on website it says if earning under 16,000 I would be but then not because of working tax credits. It was a bit confusing it seemed to say yes but then no because of working tax credits.
