I'm at home today, so doing housework! Procrastinating by starting this thread

Planning a big toy clear out, cleaning floors, bathroom, windows. Going out for walk or bike ride. Making lunch for DH (WFH) and me and then dinner for the whole family later.

Curious what everyone else has on their list today

I’ve been feeling a bit meh lately so im planning on looking at things to change that. I’ve bought a journal so I can write down some short term goals (daily meditation & return to swimming regularly) and some longer term goals (signing up for a few courses).
Let’s hope we have a productive day & get lots done.

It's my birthday so I'm taking the toddler and the dog to my dad's for the afternoon and we're having pizza and cake. This morning I'm meant to be doing housework but I'm actually eating coconut mushrooms and playing on here.

Im packing my suitcase for a weeks holiday to Greece on Sunday, just a tad excited!

Need to clean out the bins once the bin men have been.
Windows are filthy. How often do you do yours? Inside is ok but a need a window cleaner but I’m thinking every couple of months be ok.
Book a haircut.
Going into town Friday get some bit for the garden so will cut the grass then I think.

Indoors is ok it’s outside jobs I struggle with, bloody arthritis doesn’t help.

Toddler at nursery all day today so I'm on cleaning duty at home. Time to change the bedding/ hoover/ laundry... etc then make lunch for DH and I & spend the rest of the day missing my DC and checking the time constantly until it's pick up time 😂

Wetdusting, glassware and polishing upstairs, vac and wash floors upstairs.
Vac and wash floors down stairs.
Start on the first ascent of Mount Crumple (ironing pile(s) have got rather out of hand.
Go for a walk do a bottle run
Wipe down the kitchens and loos.
Read DD's EPQ even though I don't have a hope in Hades of understanding it.
Chase the cat back into the house from going over the fence numerous times.

@Tlollj, I clean my windows... sporadically. Sometimes I get to them once every week, but I've left them ages over the end of summer holidays, as we were either away, packing or unpacking for most of it! Kids are back at school / preschool now, so I really have no excuse.

Also home. I was supposed to have a dentist's appointment, but it's been cancelled due to someone having covid. It kind of leaves me without any exciting plans, as much as I'm a bit relieved (although sorry someone is ill).

I've been for a run and done most of the housework that urgently needs doing. All that remains is a walk to the pharmacy at some point, cooking dinner later on, rescuing laundry from a tissue incident, and getting on with some very tedious therapy homework.

My plan was to paint the garden fence but the weather isn't too great for today so housework and sort out books and maybe toys to give away.

I'm still in bed. My to do list is to get up and have a shower. I also have other things on my list such as making mozzarella and pizzas but the shower is job no.1.

Wfh and dentist at lunch time which I am dreading (so not much work being done as very distracted!)

I’ve done the bin 🤢 I don’t know how it gets so dirty. Nothing goes in that’s not already in a bag.
Texted my daughter for her window cleaner’s number.

You can make mozzarella?? Omg that's amazing. Is it fairly easy? My dcs love pizza, so this would be useful.

@Tlollj, ugh yes, bins are gross. Universally so. My window cleaner will do the insides as well as the outside, so you can ask them. They do a much better job than I do with my rags and windolene!

I've sorted out the most horrible drawer in the playroom. It's where all the puzzles and board games go, so naturally, they get emptied all over the drawer, so had to all be sorted out. Hoovered in and behind said drawer which was gross, but satisfying. Have also been for a short (half hour) bike ride. Going to have shower then maybe lunch and walk before school run. I can carry on with housework after school.
