me on what to do.

My DH started feeling unwell today. A temp of 38.5 A little feverish but no other Covid symptoms.

According to new Government guidelines, my children can still go to school and I can still go to work (we're both double vaxxed)

Is that really right?
I have attached a screen shot.

Obviously we don't know if it's Covid and we will both be going to get tested in the morning, to rule it out.

Yes, that is right. I think/hope people would still morally isolate where possible.

Yep that’s right. Book PCR test for him. You and DCs can also have test for Piece of mind but you don’t have to unless showing symptoms

Thanks for replying so quickly.

That's what I was thinking. Whether it'd be morally wrong.

Yeah we're both booked in for 9am tomorrow. I have no symptoms but just in case.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's right now... he can't go anywhere until he gets a neg test but everyone else can... I mean to me it doesn't make sense, but the gov obviously want to minimise impact on the economy now...

ILoveANameChange · 08/09/2021 21:11

I don't think it makes sense. Especially as I am a key worker. However, if he tests positive, I have our children to think about so couldn't go to work anyway
