Long story short.
Took my exH to court over child maintenance. He was self employed. Court ruled in his absence as he attended none of the hearings.
Was supposed to pay this court ordered amount and as soon as he got the letter declared
Himself unemployed and began to claim
Benefits. Whilst working on the side. That's a while other thread in Itself.
He is now employed and is no longer self employed .
CMS has applied a deduction of earnings and have contacted his employer. Was supposed to receive a payment from this deduction of earnings on 19th august.
CMS has advised me to wait until the end of the month.
I know no one can answer me 100% but now that this deduction of earnings has been applied, is it likely to actually be paid?
Will they be able to attempt to get some of the debt he owes to my daughter along with the standard payment?
Just a loss really with it all. Went to court, now this, all they ever seem to do is send me letters saying "he hasn't paid we will write him a letter to demand he pays" every month. He never pays.
If the employers do not pay what should my next steps be?
