Question about Smeg fridges

I’d like to defrost the top small freezer compartment of my Smeg fridge, but I can’t find anywhere in the instruction manual that explains how to do that without unplugging the whole fridge. Is it possible to do it by just opening the door?!

I don’t want to have to empty and switch off the whole fridge for the sake of the tiny freezer compartment but unsure if there’s any other way!

I used to use a hairdryer to speed up defrosting (avoid drips)

I've got a larger smeg and I turn it all off. The fridge bit stays cold and it defrosts quite quickly.
