My first birthday after H left. Birthday treat?

Stbxh left 2 months ago and it's my birthday tomorrow, I've never had a birthday by myself (kids will be at school) so just trying to think up fun things to do to distract myself. Can't be too spendy as meant to be on a budget but can spend a bit.

Go to the cinema and have some nice snacks, go and do some window shopping and then takeaway with the kids after school?

Meet a friend and go somewhere nice for lunch.
Go and choose a new book and some nice chocolates.
Day at home pampering yourself or maybe a hairdressing appointment.
Go to the cinema.

Lunch out just by yourself.

Show yourself you can spoil yourself.

I looked at cinema but weirdly nothing is til 4.30 which is fine for when kids home but I do rather like going by myself!

These ideas are all good, thanks. I guess its me getting used to doing stuff like this by myself. Doesn't help ex keeps messaging saying he hopes I have a good day tomorrow.

If you are not confident going for lunch by yourself then trip to the coffee shop for a decent coffee/hot chocolate/cake/sandwich with a new book/magazine.
