Which Jo Malone Perfume is your favourite...

If you were to splash out on a bottle of JM perfume which would it be and why, can you describe the smell...

I would like to buy a bottle with bday money but while the few that I do have are my absolute favourite scents, I’ve bought samples of others which (to me) are awful.

I’m interested in what everyone else likes.

Sea Salt and Wood Sage is my absolutely holy grail. I love it so much. Always ask for it for Christmas!

I love the earl grey and cucumber, I think it smells very fresh. I also like the nectarine blossom and honey one. I do have a couple of the floral ones but I think I prefer the citrus and fruity ones.

I like Peony and Suede blush. It smells like it sounds - floral. Not sure I can be more descriptive. Can you go into a store and try some, it’s quite personal isn’t it.

I’ve gone off them since she sold up. They are nowhere near as nice.

I have several. I like Red Roses best. JM has sets with 5 X 9 ml scents. They usually do a cologne set and a cologne intense one. If they aren't available now they will be closer to Christmas. I recommend them as a great way to try different scents. It also means you can fragrance combine too. I discovered Amber & Gingerlily through a cologne intense set.

I used to love sea salt and wood sage, really love it. Since having a baby it just smells like a cleaning product though 😩

I love Wild Bluebell for the day, and Mimosa and Cardamom for the evening

Peony and suede blush is my favourite, but I'd struggle to describe it.

Orange bitters is delicious
Vanilla & Anise, but think that’s been discontinued?
Rose & Magnoila.

Vetiver and golden vanilla (quite masculine and heady)

I used to love pomegranate noir but it makes me feel claustrophobic now

Does they ever do the sales again? I got loads with free bottles but they are running out (I am a grapefruit or LBM girl)

I love JM but ran out finally after no work travel in 18 months, I got though all the bottles and candles and no buying more in airports! I was recently in chemist and bought a bottle of TM Angel!!! I felt this huge need for a heavy ‘sexual’ type perfume… I always loved how JM scents were so layered but clean … then I suddenly craved the total opposite!

For me it was the sea salt one, the lime one, the p noir one and one of them gave me headaches and I’d always forget which one until I sprayed it on and realised

Why not purchase a selection of small dupes from a clone house like Perfume Parlour before splashing out?

I did this with Jo Loves Pomelo and went on to buy the genuine bottle once I was happy with the scent. I did though buy PP’s fragrance dust clone in the same scent which is amazing!

I buy the very small testers/samples off Ebay, not sure if they are genuine but just to give me an idea. I think they are ok, nothing special, my favourite perfume is Modern Muse.

English Pear and Freesia for daytime.
Pomegranate Noir for evenings.
I love French Lime Blossom too, but I think that’s been discontinued.

I recently bought my first bottle, Pomegranate Noir - the smell does not last and was a complete waste of £100. I have actually returned for a refund and would not purchase from JM again.
