Masquerade Ball

What would you wear?

Am invited to a party which is a Masquerade Ball.

I can easily pick up a mask but what would one wear as an outfit?

Am looking on Amazon etc but it isn't very helpful.

Have a look on Pinterest for some ideas.

I'd be keeping it fairly simple and using whatever I have in my wardrobe already - a black dress or maybe slim fitting black trousers and a dressy top. Black mask with some added colour to pick up your accessories. If you have, say, stunning red suede heels, I'd be looking for a mask with some red in it or would attach some red flower or gemstones. Perhaps pin some matching flowers onto your dress. OTT with accessories is probably the way to go.

If this Ball is a recurring event, I'd take a look on social media to see what people have worn previously. Bit of a difference between a "party" and a more formal "ball"

What does the dress code say? If it's actually a ball, I would expect black tie, so floor-length evening gown (or dressy cocktail frock if you don't want to go full-length).

If you chose a fancy mask, go for a simpler dress, and vice versa.

There's no dress code listed - it's a party with some live music (not at all related to the era that a masquerade ball would suggest) so I think I can keep it quite simple.

Sexy sleek outfit with a fancy mask from Amazon will prob do it then?
